摘要
The recycling and disposal of medical waste should follow strict standards and business processes, however, these standards and processes are usually violated in practice. Different types of medical wastes are mixed placed, which will lead to multi-bacteria repeatedly crossing-infection, disease transmission and environmental pollution. Considering the defects and problems existing in current medical waste classification management, this paper tries to optimize medical waste mixed and classification business model. Taking the number of healthcare institution, hospital beds, patients that accept diagnosis or treatment and patients that being discharged, as well as the amount of medical waste generated in Beijing, China from 2014 to 2016 as the basic data, this article selects 3 existing papers that relate to medical waste classification in China as the basic criteria to comparatively analyze the medical waste output rate, recyclable medical waste quantity, domestic waste quantity, and non-recyclable medical waste quantity under the classification business model and the mixed business model. It is shown that strengthening medical waste classification and recycling play a significant role in reducing disposal costs and environmental pollution, and preventing disease transmission.
