Case studies and Applications of Risk Analysis Software @Risk are included.
Milton. L. Smith, (Smith博士),美国科学家,工业工程著名专家。德州理工大学工业工程系教授、博士生导师,原工业工程系系主任,著名国际期刊《IIE Transactions》,原副主编。美国FLORIDA飓风测试实验室董事长兼主任。美国工业工程师学会、美国运筹学会、美国工程师教育学会高级会员。
Smith 教授是生产系统排序方面的专家,长期从事生产系统排序方面的教学与科研,主持完成了多项科研项目,美国国家科学基金项目就有2项。七十年代已在著名国际期刊《Management Science》上发表了排序方面论文。并且合著在著名国际期刊《Management Science》、《International Journal of Production Research》、《IIE Transactions》等上发表了多篇论文。还进行了项目管理、风险评估的教学与科研。
Dr. M. L. Smith received B.S.I.E. from Texas Tech University in 1961, M.S.I.E. from Texas Tech University in 1966, and Ph.D. from Texas Tech University in 1968. Dr. Smith is a Professor of Industrial Engineering at Texas Tech University and the Director of the Texas Tech University off-campus site in Amarillo. Dr. Smith had worked as a management engineer with U.S. Air Force before he went back to Texas Tech University for his graduate study. He became an Assistant Professor at Texas Tech University after he received his Ph.D. degree. He became a Professor at Texas Tech University in 1978 and served as the previous Chairman of Department of Industrial Engineering.
Dr. Smith is an expert in production system scheduling. He has taught and performed research continuously in this area for a long time. He has finished many research projects including 2 research fund projects from the National Science Foundation of America. He published papers in Management Science in 1970s and many in International Journal of Production Research, IIE Transactions, and so on. He also has conducted research in project management and risk analysis. He has research interests in production systems and in practical applications of industrial engineering/operations research in nontraditional areas.
